Our Goals

Ngā Tamariki o te Tai ao: Was a name gifted to us by my sister. It means children of the natural world.

It represents the essence of our beliefs about childhood and learning. Children must learn through play. Play is learning in its deepest, purest form. Tamariki must have the freedom to move and interact with their environment with others children.

Te tai ao, the natural world, is the greatest resource we have to access this deep level of learning. The interior of a childcare space should provide continued opportunities to access te tai ao as well as genuine care and support from a range of kaiako.
